We just came back from a High School Retreat during the Columbus Day free school day. We spent the day in Greene County and God could not have smiled on us in any better way. No rain, clear night for stars, cool but not cold weather, no sun rise(?), the hill to heaven, but new life in abundance: who could have imagined two sets of twin lambs born while we were there at the Spaulding Farm. The second set while we watched!
We sat at the crossroads; water, wilderness and on the way. With the many choices of our lives, we asked if we were on the right road. What will we choose? I pray we choose life (as Moses said). The biggest complaint was it was not long enough! That sounds pretty positive from a group of high school students on a religious retreat.
